☁️ self care diaries: running
For today's entry, I'm going to talk about my most favorite self care ritual which is taking ✨jogs or runs✨ in the afternoon 🏃🏻♀️💨 This habit started during my two-week break after my 2nd Year 2nd semester clinicals. I noticed I was a bit out of shape at that time from sitting all day. And I was so insecure about my huge thighs and that made me research about things I can do to sculpt and lose a couple of pounds. I was actually inspired by my little brother to work out because before the pandemic he was still quite chubby. Then I guess as he is growing into his teen years, he started to build up these insecurities that's why he started his weight loss journey. Now he's fitter that he's ever been. So I've started to bring this up to myself as a way to be nicer to my body. Obviously, losing weight isn't all about exercising. It should also come with a healthy diet along with a healthy lifestyle.
